Jersey Shore Wildcats Tier III Jr A

The Jersey Shore Wildcats is a Tier III Junior A hockey program that is dedicated to the development of aspiring college and professional bound athletes. The Wildcats are sanctioned by USA Hockey and the Northern States Hockey League, while the fundamental objective of our program is to maximize exposure of the athletes to colleges and major junior programs, what differentiates the Wildcats program from other junior teams is that we provide a holistic approach to the development of our players. We consider ourselves more than just a “hockey factory”. Our core values are centered on the growth of the student athlete in the following areas:

Advancement of hockey skills
Increase athletic performance and conditioning
Ensure academic preparedness
Enhancement of citizenship skills
Promoting the player to the next level

The Jersey Shore Wildcats are a direct feeder team to the Tier II (no pay to play) NAHL Wichita Falls WildCats, to create a higher level of opportunities, exposure and development, such as player movement all under the same ownership.

JERSEY SHORE WILDCATS ARE LOOKING FOR HOST BILLET FAMILIES!

Players come from other states and countries to play for the Jersey Shore Wildcats - because of that we
are looking for Host Billet Families for these players...

In most cases, very strong bonds are made between the player and his billet family as well as with the player’s
family. These relationships will often carry on for many years after the player has left the team. Often billet
families can be seen following the player in his future career be it college, semi-pro or pro.

Our players have proven to be great role models for younger children in the billet family, as they demonstrate
hard work and determination to achieve tough goals.

The players must adhere to all team and house rules and show respect and consideration toward all family
members.

In all circumstances Billets and Players are carefully chosen by the coaching staff to ensure the most successful
relationships are forged, and that all facilities are within close proximity. The player is responsible for his own
transportation and/or coordinating for rides. $350/month is received to the billet family per player.
Becoming a WILDCAT Billet family comes with great perks such as:
- Two JSA Public Skating passes
- Two JSA Open Hockey passes
- One JSA Hockey Clinic pass
- One JSA Hockey Summer Camp pass
